Hamboard Skateboards on Shark Tank

Skateboards that Ride Like a Surfboard - Episode 507 - 10/11/2013
Hamborg Familt riding Hamboards in Huntington Beach, California
Hamborg Family skating down the road on their Hamboards
What do you get when you combine a Skateboard with a Surfboard? Why you get the next coolest product seen on the Shark Tank Show called the "Hamboard". A Hamboard is an extra-long Longboard that resembles more of a Surfboard than a Skateboard and designed to surf on land. As with most cool new Board Sports that's ever been invented, the one thing they all have in common is they originated in Southern California with the Hamboard being the latest to join this impressive group coming from Huntington Beach, California.

The Hamboards are named after the Hamborg Family that not only created this new surfboard on land, they perfected riding this unusually long LongBoard. With a family of 5 Boys and two active Parents, the Hamborgs conceived, designed and produced the surfing style skateboard over 8 year's time out of their Shop in Huntington Beach, Ca.

I happen to know a little bit about the skateboard business having spent more than I care to remember on Skateboards, Snowboards and every other kind of Board or Skate for my own Boys. As a matter a fact, I'm starring at a Longboard that's still in our living room as I'm writing this. It belonged to my oldest Son he used to get around College Campus last year and gave it to my youngest Son before going to Japan for his Junior year. By definition, its considered a longboard I would say is around 3 feet long just by looking at it. Comparing what I already thought was a very Long Board from when I was a kid; these Ham Boards make even this Long board look extremely small.Read More Here-->>>
