 While I was doing a little research on YouTube I ran across a clip of a Shark Tank product from Season One I've been meaning to update for some time. Considering the Holidays are just around the corner and the Gift Card Business has mushroomed into a multi-billion dollar industry, I thought it would be interesting to see how far the Giftcard Rescue Business has come since appearing on the Shark Tank now over 4 years ago.

The Gift Card Rescue was featured on the 4th episode ever of this now Famous Business Reality TV Show when Kwami Kuadey came into the Shark Tank seeking $150k for a 30% equity stake in the Gift Card Trading Business. Kuadey who was born in Ghana and moved to the United States to pursue his entrepreneurial dream, was struggling to get his new gift card exchange business off the ground when he decided to try out for this new Reality TV Show. He may have desperately needed an investment from the Sharks to take this business to the next level, but Kwami came well prepared and handled the negotiations like an old pro. For every negative that came up, he instantly had a positive response that ultimately leads to an offer more than what Kuadey was seeking. • Sweet Ballz creatures James McDonald and Cole Egger went in front of the Sharks seeking $250k for 10% of this sweet cake balls business. Deal with Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran for $250k and 25% equity stake in the business.

• Post Cards On The Run entrepreneur Josh Brooks came into the Shark Tank looking for $300k in exchange for 5% equity in his custom postcard business. Deal with Robert Herjevic for $300k and 7.5% equity stake in this new technology business.
• Rolo Doc Rolodex was invented by two Doctors Albert & Richard Amini asking for $50k for 20% equity in the Rolo Doc. No Deal.

• Featured Update:
• Wicked Good Cupcakes In A Jar Mother Daughter Team made an unusual deal with Kevin O'Leary in season 4 when he finally closed one of his royalty fee deals he's now famous for.  They admitted it seemed like making a deal with the devil at the time but Mr. Wonderful proved to be an Angel in disguise. Dani Desroches and Tracey Noonan's Wicked Good Cupcake Business is on track to do $2 million in sales this year alone.

 It's FINALLY Here! Shark Tank Week begins tonight at 8p.m. and will be on every night for the next 6 nights in a row. Yes I know these are more re-runs leading into Shark Tank Season 5 which begins exactly one week after "Shark Tank Week" ends, but these episodes are hand-picked by the Sharks themselves. Each of the "old" Sharks picked their favorite episode and each night is dedicated to their favorite they personally invested in.

  This is one Shark Tank Episode that will go down in the History Books as one of the most memorable episodes in all of Season 4. Kevin O'Leary steps out of His comfort zone and shows it's not always about the money while making a terrific investment helping an Entrepreneur get a Big Break on Her road to a very successful company. Mark Cuban on the other hand, helps fellow College Student's obtain an investment to further develop their Coffee of the Month Club with unique blends from around the world. Ah yes, we can't forget about the bird feeder that remotely shocks squirrels if they try eating you're bird seed. Samantha Meis & Conor Riley started the Misto Box Monthly Coffee Club as a project while still in college. Soon after graduation Samantha and Connor wasted little time starting a successful crowdfunding campaign raising over $9000 and getting the much needed capital to kick start their coffee business.

Within in one year almost to the day, this Kickstater Campaign led them directly to the Shark Tank where they made a deal with Mark Cuban for $75,000.00 and a third ownership in the business. Misto Box is now offering several different new services including getting a new box of coffee every other week instead of once a month. Shark Tank Season 5

Season 5 of the Shark Tank Show

Premieres Friday September 20, 2013 on ABC

 Great news Shark Tank Fans! ABC has finally announced Season 5 of the Shark Tank Show will start in two months on 9/20/2013. Many people had predicted (including myself) the show would be moved this season to a more preferred time slot and a different day of the week with more potential viewers watching.

As it turns out the Shark Tank will keep it's familiar time slot @ 9 P.M. (eastern) on Friday Night's where it has dominated the rating's most of last season. I'm not sure why they would choose to keep one of their most Successful Shows on probably the worst night of the week, but then again new episodes have even made me change my plans to accommodate that time.

I would imagine having the Shark Tank air on Friday Night's instead of any other night of the week is might be that viewers have all weekend to visit the contestants websites.
