The Friday Dinner

Every Friday night at St Vincent de Paul's Church in downtown Baltimore church organizers and volunteers host a free dinner that is open to the public. Hundreds of people from around the City and from all walks of life come for the meal and the sense of community it helps create. We spoke with several people at the church last Friday to get a better understanding of who relies on this meal, what would happen if it wasn't offered, and what it means to those who depend on it.

We at the Baltimore Area Faces of Homelessness want to take the time to say "Thank You" to everyone who came out last week to support the speakers! The event was amazing, and it was such a rare privilege to hear each speaker share his or her story in such a personal way. Thank you to our amazing speakers: Tony, Carlton, Damien, Rymeen, Donna, Garry, Brandon, Mike, Bonnie, Mark, Ruth and Bill!

In the coming week we will post videos and photos from the event. Be sure to check back!
